Spring Academy of Hospitality and Tourism – Successfully Held! 

On Saturday, March 21, the Spring Academy was held at the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism and Wellness, bringing together a large number of participants – students, high school students, and everyone interested in building a career in tourism and hospitality.

Participants had the opportunity to listen to and engage directly with distinguished experts from academia and industry.

Speakers:

• Prof. Dr. Slobodan Čerović – Luxury, challenges and anecdotes: management, life and work in the Metropol and Jugoslavija hotels


• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Živorad Vasić – Building an international career: from studies in the USA to Regional General Manager within InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) for Crowne Plaza Belgrade, Ljubljana, Bucharest, Sofia and Regent Porto Montenegro. Former Senior Vice President at Delta Holding. Today, co-founder and director of Kadena Properties @kadenasothebysrealty


• Marko Stefanović (@gospodinsaizuzetnogputa) – “The life of a global traveler, travel writer and tourism influencer”


• Aleksandra Krsmanović (@mikataalexandra) – “Can social media get you a job?” How she built a profile with over 60,000 followers and received three job offers


• Novak Babović, ZiJin Hotel Belgrade – Guest Relations Manager: the importance of quality guest relations in high-category hotels

Through lectures and an interactive workshop, participants gained insights into current industry trends, real career paths, and practical skills that are highly valued in today’s job market.

At the end of the program, certificates were awarded to participants, along with congratulations for their active participation and dedication.

The Spring Academy once again proved how important connecting with industry professionals, exchanging experiences, and acquiring new knowledge is for professional development.
